R E L A T I O N S H I P S

►► Vimes Thatcher
Her literal twin brother (she's younger by two minutes and 45 seconds) the two of them grew up side by side and never more than an arms length away from one another up until their teenage years. Both Thatchers showed promise as future illuminati agents, and thus were groomed to be such with only the other as company. Mika appreciates how protective he can be despite the fact that their integration into the Illuminati resulted in their distance from one another, and she will always seek his opinion out first.
►► David Avery
David and Mika are as close as close can be, considering they're part of the same field work team (when the situation arises) and roommates outside of the work place. Though she was relocated to CBAL after her field work was complete, she continues providing him with out-of-field support when she's able. She owes a lot to him and wishes she could do more for the man.
►► Peace Gregory
Mika's relationship with Peace is one that more or less borders on 'life partnership'.The two of them are incredibly close, having bonded over a mutual insane metabolism and line of work, and tend to stick to one another's company when free time is available. Mika has also quickly fallen in love with Peace's Retro Mop, Sir Pugsley, and gives him free check ups when needed.
►► Christoph Motyluk
The two of them are romantically involved, with a deep emotional understanding at it's core rather than a physical one. They've agreed to giving the relationship a try despite their opposing factions, just to see if it is in any way feasible, but both keep their careers strictly apart from their personal life. The nature of their relationship has been wearing on Mika as of late.
►► Karl Materdae
To McKenzie, Karl is the answer when she asks herself the question 'what would it be like to have an older brother?'. Despite the severe differences in their personalities, they're fiercely protective of one another. The two of them bonded over B-list monster movies and terrible sleep schedules.
►► Simon Potter
It's... complicated. The two of them dated briefly, and it ended rather poorly around the holidays- resulting in McKenzie's moving in with David. The two of them have gotten back to being on speaking terms since then, though sometimes it can be a bit awkward.
►► Alan Sharp
Mika thinks Alan is a nice kid, a good kid even- as one of the people who grew up completely clueless to the magical/secret world McKenzie does her best to answer his questions when they arise.
►► Ives Martell
The blonde is something of an enigma to her, but she finds herself hard pressed to even try to dislike him. She has Ives to thank for her shorter hair, and enjoys his company quite a lot during his rare appearances.
►► Mini Luch
Mika doesn't know where to start. He's great at what he does and he's incredibly useful to have around when bullets and explosives are somehow in short demand but... Dear god.
►► Harper
Though she initially met the dragon through a series of very odd events, she wouldn't have given him the owlet familiar 'pom-pom' if she didn't feel like she could trust him. Mika and Harper get along well, and there's never been much need for words to be exchanged between the two of them except when absolutely necessary.

►► TL;DR
A true 'blue' blood, McKenzie comes from a family that has history firmly rooted in the Illuminati and her upbringing is reflective of those who have the same. She had initially elected to pursue work outside of the family trade and pursued veterinary Medicine, but events soon led her back to the Illuminati's front doors through necessity rather than willingness.

Once you get past the walls erected in the name of self preservation and her ironclad work ethic, she's easier to get along with.It's clear that she struggles with .





C O M B A T

►► Rifle & Hammers
As a graduate from Innsmouth Academy, Mika's had some basic training in all weaponry, but her keen eye and abnormal strength made her a dead ringer for both hammers and rifles.

►► Chaos & Rifles
Her affinity for Chaos magic is more natural than anything (She's not particularly skilled or unskilled), and while she's out alone in the field she'll switch her hammer out in favor of it for efficiency's sake.

►► Strengths
Well rounded in skills needed for field work, and her affinity for code breaking and knowledge of ancient languages makes her a must have in investigatory missions.

►► Weaknesses

Mika is first and foremost a member of the Cryptography section of the Department of Code Breaking and Ancient Languages-- She's not meant for field work at all despite her skills and it shows. She has been known to have trouble working with new team members and has a dismal sense of direction.
